There are main 3 sections to this website blog, all to do with brewing ale, going to pubs to eat and drink through to wholesome food preparation including recipes – starting with Charcuterie.
The main section, Lodge Ales is a place where I can capture my journey to brew my first batch of ale, recording web links, videos and words from books.
Nice Country Pubs that do Good Food, is a my list of pubs that we have visited, also those where we intent to visit. As we like to go out for a good meal, I have to come up with a nice place to go and this section of the website enables me to record visits.
Charcuterie – I am not allowed in the room of many knobs and fire, but I am allowed to make the sausages.
